An Introduction to the Game of Curling: Rocks & Rings Program
On October 5th and 6th, Rocks & Rings program will be visiting our school. As part of our Physical Education program and as well, our ongoing focus healthy, active living, our students will have a unique opportunity to explore the game of Curling.
Egg Farmers Rocks & Rings presented by Curling Canada is an interactive physical education program that transforms our school gym into an iceless curling rink. Our students will learn about Curling and as they practise some of the skills involved in the game. The program features a variety of drills, relays and team building activities with a focus on participation and healthy FUN!
We hope students will enjoy being introduced to this unique sport. There is no cost to this activity as all costs will be covered by the school. Let’s get curling Lions!!
