Spook-A-Thon Fundraiser!

We are excited to announce that our annual Halloween Dance-a-Thon Fundraiser is just around the corner! This year’s event promises to bring plenty of fun, music, and school spirit, while raising important funds to support programs and initiatives at San Marco Catholic School.

The Dance-a-Thon will take place on Friday, October 31, 2025, during the school day. Our fundraising goal this year is to surpass last year’s total and raise $13,000.00  and we know that with your support, we can achieve it!

All money raised through this year’s Dance-a-Thon will go directly toward school enhancements and technology upgrades that benefit all of our students. These funds help us continue to create a vibrant and engaging learning environment by supporting improvements to classrooms, shared spaces, and educational tools. As well as help fund student centred activities, such as transportation costs, school speakers, materials for student lead initiatives, and the creation of our STREAM Lab. This includes updating technology to keep pace with modern learning, enhancing resources that support student well-being and academic success, and making improvements to our school environment that benefit every grade level.

How the Fundraiser Works

In the weeks leading up to the event, students are encouraged to collect donations from family and friends. All donations must be returned to the school no later than Friday, October 31, 2025 in order to be eligible for prizes.

On the day of the Dance-a-Thon, students will celebrate their efforts by dancing in a fun, Halloween-themed event filled with music, a fully decorated gym, and a haunted house experience! Students are welcome to wear their Halloween costumes on this day (school-appropriate — no masks or weapons, please). Further details with a schedule will be provided closer to the event.
